I didn't think much more about the character after that as I was working on other things at the time.
Then I bought an Art of Simon Bisley book. His work's deliciously brutal and sexy style acted as a catalyst for a story and the bunny barbarian I'd drawn a few months earlier popped back into my head.....
I'm picking up the pace. Hopefully the first part of the tale will be ready in the next couple of weeks.

The second sketch - Drawn after flicking through the Bisley book. Returning to the charcter, I gave him a head of hair and replaced the axe with a sword. He still wasn't named at this point.
Xander - Drawn just after I chose the character's name.
Prisoner - The damsel in distress and her pet salamander.
Bad Bird - Initial sketches of a major villain in the tale.
Bad Bird 2 - I posted both this and the previous sketch on a few forums. People really seem to like this character.
Sneak Peek - A rough page from the first act of the story. With that cat loosing his arm in the botton panel, you can see that I'm trying to put together something a little more brutal/violent than the fun sillyness of Sequential Art.
